Top 5 barbie movies :)
5. Island Princess
I just love this movie so much, and a big part of the reason why is how different from the other classic Barbie movies it is. It's a less magic centric movie, and even though the main plot revolves around Ro going from one land to another, it's less of an adventure movie and more of a political intrigue one, if you can call it that. It just feels so unique, you know? And I also really love the characters here! Luciana is the love of my life, Ro is such a compelling character who carries the movie so well, Antonio is one of the best canon love interests, and Azul and Sagi are just so fun and also married. And to top it off this movie has an amazing soundtrack, so what else could I ask for?
4. Swan Lake
This movie is just so pretty. Just so so pretty. There is this really wonderful whimsical feel to everything about it, from the setting to the characters to the soundtrack to the plot. Odette is such a good protagonist and her journey towards figuring out her own courage is so inspiring, and I love the relationships she develops with the fairy queen and with Lila throughout the movie. And I haven't even talked about the dances yet!! They're so beautiful, it's unbelievable, I really think this is the best Barbie ballet out there. This movie just has such a great energy, I love it so much.
3. Fairytopia
The fact that I can't rank this movie higher than third place is honestly a crime because I love it so so much!! It's the most whimsical Barbie movie ever if you ask me, and it has so much going for itself. First of all, I just love the worldbuilding here, Fairytopia is such an amazing place to explore, and I love that the movie gives us just enough exposition to understand how this world works without giving away too much and making it lose its wonder. I also love the themes this movie explores, and the the high stakes but still lighthearted plot. But the main thing I love here has to be the characters, this movie has some of my favorites from the entire bcu! There's Azura, of course, who's one of my favorite characters of all times, but there's also Laverna, Elina, and Dahlia, who are all so wonderful and a lot more complex than people give them credit for. This movie just deserves more credit as a whole, I think, it's so wonderful and it should get more love!!
2. The Princess and The Pauper
I think this movie would get first place for like half of the Barbie fandom and I definitely see why! It has the overall best soundtrack out of every Barbie musical, the characters are all amazing, and like in Island Princess, the plot is a lot more grounded and focused on one kingdom's politics, which feels really unique in the midst of the high fantasy saving the world movies Barbie usually makes. It's such a good movie in every way, and I think it's the closest a Barbie movie ever came to being flawless, or at least it's definitely the one I'd make the least amount of changes to (just give me one Anneliese solo and we're good to go). I love this movie so much and it deserves all of the praise it gets.
1. Diamond Castle
Liana and Alexa. That's it, that's what I have to say.
No but in all seriousness, there's no point in even pretending that's not why this movie is my number 1. Don't get me wrong, there's a lot more to love about it - the amazing songs, the surprisingly complex themes, the well structured plot - but these two are really the heart of this movie, and they mean everything to me. Their personalities, their dynamic, their development, just how much they mean to each other... it's all so wonderful an heartwarming, and even though there are other Barbie relationships I love, to me none of them can top this one. These two own my heart, and watching them onscreen gives me this feeling of pure, unfiltered joy that's just so great. There's no way I could rank this movie any lower, it's the one that makes me smile the most.
Thank you so much for the ask!!

The Princess & the Pauper Pt. 1- Ben Hardy x Reader
Synopsis: Princess Lucy’s kingdom is on the brink of destitution, Prince Ben’s father is growing ill and he’s in search of a wife to join him on the throne, Y/N’s a seamstress with bigger dreams, and Rami is Lucy’s bighearted tutor. Will all four of them follow their hearts or remain devoted to their duties?
Warnings: Bad writing, cursing, you know.
A/N: I haven’t written in FOREVER. Depression or something like that lmao. Anyways I’d love to get some feedback, yes, I re-watched the iconic movie from my childhood, Barbie and the Princess & the Pauper and I just... I had to write this. Please don’t hate me. Also, this concept was loosely inspired by @freddiesaysalright and their Fairy Tale AUs :)Sorry for grammar mistakes and such, I’m pretty rusty ://
-------
Uh, your highness?” Rami mumbled sheepishly as he knocked gently on the door to the princess’s library. Lucy hummed a soft, “Come in.” as she sat at her desk, book in hand, her eyes not bothering to glimpse up from her current page. Rami, clad in a light blue vest that hung over his white puffy shirt and navy pants, breathed a heavy sigh, knowing she wouldn’t like what he said next. “Your mother... she wants to see you.” Lucy emitted a sigh of her own, rolled her eyes and gently put the book down on the desk in front of her.
“It was just getting good, too.” She mumbled as she stood, straightening her pastel pink gown. She walked to Rami, who had a quizzical look on his face.
“What book were you reading?” He asked as he held his arm out to her.
“Something about horticulture.” She shrugged. Rami chuckled as she took his arm. “What? Don’t laugh!”
“I’m not laughing at you! I’m laughing at the fact that your book about horticulture was ‘just getting good.’ What exactly is the plot of a book about horticulture, Princess?”
“The plot isn’t necessary when there’s a chapter about how to grow roses over an impromptu gravesite.” Lucy deadpanned, trying her hardest to suppress her own giggles.
Rami had been hired a few years ago to tutor Princess Lucy in the art of science- the only art she seemed to be interested in after her father died. He always knew how to cheer her up, and she’d be lying if she said she didn’t have feelings that were more than platonic for him. And though he would rather not admit it out of pure fear of overstepping his place, he returned her feelings wholeheartedly. Although that didn’t stop him from cheekily flirting with her any opportunity he got.
The pair walked down the corridor, cracking jokes about plants until they arrived at the throne room. Sitting on the throne was Lucy’s mother, and to her right was Abigor, the royal treasurer. He stood a little too close to the Queen for Lucy’s liking, but she said nothing. Before leaving her side, Rami whispered in her ear, “Oh, yes, a meeting with the Queen and the royal penny pincher. Your favorite.” Lucy suppressed the urge to smile, and only squeezed his arm as he left.
“Hello, Mother.”
“Hello my darling... I’m afraid- I’m afraid Abigor and I have some rather bad news for you.” The Queen said, her voice shaky as she averted her eyes from the princess. She stared at the floor as Abigor, dressed in his purple robes and his pompous hairstyle to match his personality looked straight at Lucy.
“The kingdom is broke.”
“What?”
Abigor rolled his eyes and repeated himself. “The royal mines are out of gold. We are destitute.”
Lucy felt the color leave her cheeks. “Wh-what does that mean?”
“It means we’ll need to salvage the kingdom by making an alliance with another... we need to combine the wealth of our country with that of another...” Lucy’s mother said softly. Rami listened intently from the doorway, putting the pieces together just as Lucy did. An alliance.
“An alliance? You don’t mean...?” Lucy asked, her lip quivering as her mind raced. Her eyes bounced from Abigor to her mother to Abigor again. Then to the portrait of her dead father hanging on the wall behind his old throne. Her mother nodded silently.
“You are to be married to one of our neighbors.” Abigor said flatly.
--------
“You can’t go on like this, Father.” Ben said, shifting his weight nervously in his father’s own throne room. The older stout man heaved as he coughed, pain written all over his face.
“I can tell you’re in pain, the stress is killing you!” Ben exclaimed, throwing his arms up in the air. His stubborn, stubborn father. He turned to his mother, who shook her head solemnly.
“Benjamin, love, if you’re to replace your father, you cannot do so alone. It pains me to say this, I know you want to see the world, but the kingdom is your responsibility as well. And when has there ever been a great king without a great queen?” She said, her eyes lighting up as she thought of the prospect of her son marrying. It had been time for a few years now, but out of love for their son, the King and Queen of Westenzia had allowed him to go on adventures while he still could. But with the health of his father deteriorating, Ben knew his days of freedom were numbered. He nodded his head, aware of what his parents would say next.
“You need to grow up. Go find a wife so you can rule on the throne together.” His mother said, a certain softness in her tone.
“And don’t complain about love! Love is inconsequential!” His father said, clutching his sides. The Queen shot him a dirty look.
“I mean... I mean, don’t worry about love. Love will find you if you look for her.” The King restated, pressing a clammy hand to the hand of his wife. She rolled her eyes just as her son did before he walked out of the room.
----
Y/N sat at the table, needle and thread in hand as she hummed a tune. She had been sewing for hours, and while it wasn’t the worst of trades, it was just as exhausting as being a lumberjack. Well, she thought it must be, anyways. She wiped her brow as she heard the door open and the bell jingle before setting down the gown she had been working on to approach the customer. Much to her dismay, it was a young woman in one of her gowns but... the woman looked nearly identical to herself. Aside from her blonde hair, this girl could have been her sister.
“Um, how may I help you?” Y/N asked, her own blue gown nearly colliding with the pink one of her lookalike.
“I’m getting my first and last taste of freedom and I... well, I wanted to see where all of my beautiful gowns came from.” The woman said as she looked around.
“Ah, well, welcome!” Y/N said, still slightly entranced by how similar this stranger was to her. “You look... familiar.” She mumbled.
“And you look like my reflection, but with Y/H/C hair!” Lucy chuckled. Y/N blushed, a smile finding itself on her lips. “What’s your name?”
“It’s Y/N. What’s yours?”
“Lucy.” She said shyly.
“Oh, like the princess?” Y/N asked before it dawned on her. What other Lucy’s were in the kingdom? Dumbass. Lucy smiled and nodded.
“You could say we’re acquainted.”
“Are you looking for anything in particular, your highness?” Y/N inquired, folding her hands together in front of her waist.
“A wedding dress, apparently.” She mumbled, rolling her eyes.
“A wedding dress? But... but there’s no news of a wedding.” Y/N said softly.
“It’s not exactly my choice... it’s- it’s my duty.” Lucy said, looking down at the ground. Y/N nodded her head. She knew all about duty. Before she could retrieve a book of dress designs, another person entered the store, with a single pink rose in his hand.
“A rose for a rose.” He said as he bowed to the princess. When he lifted his head and saw the two of you standing together he backed up and looked back and forth between the pair.
“Wait, what?” He furrowed his eyebrows. Y/N and Lucy giggled. “The two of you are... indistinguishable. Amazing!”
Y/N and Lucy smiled at one another before Y/N brought out a sketchbook with different designs.
“How long have you been doing this? Your dresses are amazing, I refuse to wear anything that isn’t made here!” Lucy inquired. Y/N blushed and shook her head in disbelief. The princess loved her gowns? Really?
“I’ve been a seamstress ever since I learned how to sew. I was orphaned at a young age and... well, I didn’t want to be in debt forever, so I decided to do something. Something that didn’t involve marriage for money instead of love.” Lucy winced at her words. “Sorry, I shouldn’t have said it like that. I um...” Y/N trailed off, feeling guilty for reminding the princess of her rather unfortunate situation. While Lucy hadn’t explicitly told the seamstress the reason for her marriage, it had been easily implied.
Lucy shook her head and put a hand up. “It’s alright. But I’m to be married in a matter of days.” She sighed, motioning to the book of sketches in front of her. Y/N nodded and discussed the different styles and layerings as Rami walked around the shop, observing the variety of fabrics and works in progress, trying to deny his own heartbreak.
----
“Mother, I don’t even know where to find an eligible princess.” Ben whined as he sat with his parents in the royal dining room. He sipped his wine and nearly spit it out as his cousins, Joseph, Duke of Evania, and Gwilym, Duke of Mundil, entered the dining room.
“Cousins!” He exclaimed, excusing himself from the table and going to greet them. “What are you doing here?”
“Looking for babes.” Joseph said, a smile planted nearly permanently on his face. Ben laughed as he took him and Gwilym into a warm embrace.
“Welcome to the club.” He chuckled. Gwilym patted his back and the pair joined Ben for dinner.
“You know, word on the street is that the neighboring kingdom of Dulcinea is looking for someone to marry their princess.” Gwilym stated, looking at Ben.
“You cheeky wanker. Are you trying to sweep Princess Lucy off her feet?” The King chuckled. Gwilym shrugged his shoulders. Ben rolled his eyes.
“I think you should marry her, Benjamin.” The Queen said softly. Ben looked down at his plate, heat rising to his cheeks.
“Well I don’t know about that...” Ben muttered.
“Why not? Why don’t you travel to Dulcinea and meet her? And if it’s meant to be, you can tie the knot.” Joseph said, nudging Ben. Gwilym nodded encouragingly.
“Yes! The three of us can go visit, perhaps she has two beautiful cousins as well.” Gwilym suggested, getting a chuckle out of his two cousins.
“Fine. We leave on the morrow.” Ben ceded, shaking his head. His mother smiled at him, slipping the ring from her finger and handing it to her son.
“If it’s meant to be, I want you to be prepared.” She winked. Ben swallowed. This was really happening. It was bound to happen for months but now... now this was real.
He would be meeting, and likely marrying, Princess Lucy.
-----
Lucy and Rami rode in the carriage back to the palace, her head resting on his shoulder.
“Thanks for taking me out to the village.” She said, sleepily. Rami nodded, trying to control his breathing.
“Of course, your highness.” He looked down and watched her lashes flutter closed, smiling to himself. She really was beautiful. He pushed a stray lock of blonde hair from her face and stroked her head gently before leaning his own back against the cushion of the carriage and falling asleep himself.
When he awoke, he noticed Lucy staring out the window.
“Princess?”
“Hmm?” Lucy turned her head back to Rami, sleep and stress evident in her eyes.
“Are you alright?” She blinked a few times and smiled.
Nodding her head she gently whispered, “Yes.” Before placing a hand on Rami’s chest. Sparks exploded in his body and fire raced through his veins. Lucy’s soft hand moved up to his neck and clutched gently at his jaw.
“I-I need to admit something before it’s too late...” Rami said softly, placing his own hand on her waist as he moved his head closer to hers. Their foreheads met and the stared intently into one another’s eyes, searching for a love neither thought the other actually reciprocated.
The carriage came to a halt.
Oh, right. The palace.
Escorting Lucy from the carriage, they walked arm and arm up to the palace doors. Neither seemed to be able to look the other in the eye out of sheer embarrassment, perhaps that was why neither of them noticed the pair of henchmen lurking around. In a swift and sudden motion, Rami was knocked unconscious and as was Lucy. However when the pair woke up, they were no longer together.
Rami sat alone on the palace steps, searching for the princess while Lucy awoke to a start in a bed that wasn’t hers, and a bedroom that was just as unfamiliar to her as the bed.
Holding his head in his hand, Rami stood, scared for the safety of the princess. Who would do this, and why?

Verses I’ve considered Making but Haven’t made up my Mind Yet
Pretty Tower Princess Ann 『v!PTPA』 Revamp
Nothing super serious, just a rebooted version of an existing verse, just so it suits the ‘Magical Girl’ theme, seeing as the first one doesn’t suit what the verse tag implies. Which probably means some new fcs & a new plot line
Of course this requires a lot more thinking, considering how difficult reboots around here have been, ex: finishing the new plotline first
Goddess 『v!Goddess』 Expansion
An expansion on an existing verse, to include other Chosens & make this more like a godly pantheon, rather then just two goddesses existing on their own. This could be made into a whole different sort of verse in itself, since just the verse as is allows of things like ’divide champions’, priests & priestesses to come & exist.
The House of 20 Royals 『v!House of 20 Royals』 Inspired by: Barbie & the 12 Dancing Princesses
At some point I randomly decided to go back & watch a bunch of different movies that I really enjoyed as a child(spoiler alert: a lot of them were Barbie movies & I have no shame in that). This particular one was one of my favorites.
The way it goes is, there is this particular kingdom(for sanity’s sake, let’s just say it’s Camellia for now), who is known for their royal family for being very, very large(due to the 20 royal children[not just daughters exclusive either]), as well as having a wide & strange variety of special abilities. This family, while not completely divided, do get into spats often, as they all wish to be the next king/queen of the kingdom & try to sabotage each other’s chances for that(by assuring that no one gets married, as to be in line for succession requires them to be married). Slowly, these 20 royal children, must get over their differences & disagreences, to over come a common enemy & save their slowly dying father.
For this particular verse, it is recommended that participates are one(or more depending on how many characters you wanna involve) of the 20 royal children, or a servant to the royal family to get the full experience, they can also have a single magical ability of their choosing(if they don’t already have one[they would just have to check it over with me so we can make sure it ain’t op or something]). Many royals from the main world will also be shoved into this verse for the sake of saving myself hours looking for fcs.
The Princess & the Oblivion Scepter 『v!Oblivion Scepter』 Inspired by: Barbie & the Magic of Pegasus & the existing PTPA story
Another verse taken from the inspiration from a childhood favorite, as well as twisting an existing story of mine.
The Princess Annalise never knew what life outside the castle walls were like, until one day, she snuck out to see the world for what it was, only to discover a dark secret her family had been hiding from her. Or rather, that she was the secret her family had been trying to keep from someone. Soon after, a curse is cast upon the kingdom & she disappears from her home completely. It’s up to you to find the missing princess & bring her home, as well as break the kingdom’s curse.
For this story, participates can be anyone, from a member of the royal family, to a servant, to a mere commoner, however, you will have a pre-mandated relationship with one character: the Magician of the Royal Court.
Modern AU 『v!High Schooler』
Nothing particularly special about this one, just an AU where Ann & Sue are turned into completely normal high school girls. Probably be good for the people who aren’t into all this ‘royalty’ stuff... which appears to be a lot of folks.
Swapped Chosens 『v!Swapped Chosens』
Also pretty much what it sounds like, what would happen is Suzanne had been Yang’s Chosen, & Ann would have been Ying’s Chosen. It’s had to say whether or not is their personalities would change to an extremity, though there certainly would be some changes there, & it would definitely require a change in fcs for them both.
Maid AU『v!Servants』
Again, one of those things where it is exactly what it sounds like, making Ann & Sue the servants to the royalty in which participates are likely to be the royals/nobles they serve. I guess this could TECHICALLY include a maid café au as well, but that one will only go so far.
Mermaid AU 『v!Mermaid』 Inspired by: Mermaid Melody
Stop getting me into fandoms I don’t belong in.
‘The Pure Pearl Voice’ & ‘The Dark Pearl Voice’, both very young & considered to be extremely unusual as far as mermaids go, as they are usually ‘colored’, where as Ann & Sue are simply white & black. It’s unclear why they are not colored, it’s possible this is because they are not fully grown, & thus their powers are not fully grown, or if this is a sign that they are some how stronger then your standard mermaid. The fact they are unable to transform into a human guise would suggest the former.

BLOGTOBER 10/9/2018: HELLRAISER III - HELL ON EARTH
This is one of those movies that I really want to like, because it maintains this glow among some horror nerds, and I want to be able to enjoy Christmas and birthdays just like the secular kids, but as of 2018, I am still uncompelled by the (minor, culty) hype. Maybe it’s because HELLRAISER is such a great movie, and also because I have such deeply personal feelings about HELLBOUND: HELLRAISER II; maybe it’s because I just don’t find the boringly beautiful Terry Farrell any more charming here than I did on Deep Space 9; maybe it’s because I just don’t have a good enough sense of humor to fully embrace the CD Cenobite, even though I would normally run-not-walk to see anything one might reasonably say is among the most ridiculous things ever filmed. I guess I’m just here to say that, yes, HELLRAISER III exists, and I’m not sorry I’ve seen it, but I still haven’t developed that urgent need to see it again.
Anthony Hickox, director of WAXWORK and WAXWORK II and WARLOCK: ARMAGEDDON (the latter of which I would surely rather be watching than *almost* anything else I’ll have mentioned here), took up the directorial reigns from Tony Randel of HELLBOUND fame; the latter was apparently replaced due to producers’ fears that his vision for HELL ON EARTH was too bleak. The more I read about this movie, the more I came to resent it for what it was not. I would definitely have had a use for Randel’s hella bleak HELLRAISER III. I would also have been first in line to see a movie totally focused on Julia, Clare Higgins’ often-skinless villainess from HELLRAISER II, though she apparently turned it down just to break my heart. And not to say that I think movie franchises like this should never change or evolve, but I could also have stood for some QT with my favorite old cenobites, and even the perennially mascara-smeared Ashley Laurence in more than a grainy cameo. What I got instead was a movie made at a breakneck speed, with actors working up to 17 hours a day and having no real sense of what the finished product was supposed to be like, slathered in a decent amount of gore but tainted by some awkward early CG effects, and garnished with some pretty Freudian daddy issues material that I actually would have welcomed if it were accompanied by any kind of chemistry between the leads.
So what actually happens in the movie? Scummy club owner JP Monroe acquires a raunchy statue in which both Pinhead and the lament configuration are trapped. He discovers the real value of this artifact when Pinhead slurps up one of JP’s dates, sending him on the familiar quest to bring the demon more victims in exchange for...some abstract concept about pleasure. As cenobitic activity ramps up around town, struggling reporter Joey takes note, and she teams up with homeless goth chick Terri-within-an-”i” to try to turn this into her first big scoop. Joey’s mission is complicated, not so much by the physical dangers ahead, than by this thing where her reoccurring nightmares about her father dying in Vietnam begin to blend with present day ethereal encounters with WWI Captain Elliot Spencer, Pinhead’s discarded human form. Spencer explains that without him, Pinhead is pure evil (I guess he wasn’t in the first two movies), which Pinhead simultaneously proves by rampaging across Manhattan turning douchebags into cenobites willy-nilly. It will be up to Joey to figure out how to unlock the infamous box and send Pinhead home before he creates a hell on earth.
If I’m being perfectly honest, I love seeing Doug Bradley with the pins off. As with Robert Englund, he transitions easily from being one of cinema’s most seductively pervy bad guys, to a naturally charming and somewhat paternal oddball, which is very rewarding for those lonely dorks among us who grew up favoring ‘80s movie monsters over GI Joes or My Little Ponys. This ought to make it shamefully exciting to see Captain Spencer try to fill the daddy-shaped hole in Joey’s heart, but statuesque Terry Farrell is far too womanly to be swishing around the astral plane in a nighty with a cartoonishly humongous bow on the back, literally screaming the word “daddy” into the void. However, the problem with this bit isn’t only that the comparatively queenly Ms. Farrell doesn’t exactly fill the nymphety little shoes of Ashley Laurence from the previous two movies. The metaphor is confused, too; what does war have to do with the existing thematic material of HELLRAISER? We get some kind of spiel about how Elliot Spencer’s dehumanizing military experience drove him to seek out the ambiguous pleasures of the cenobites, but that doesn’t justify the arbitrary conflation of Joey’s father’s ‘Nam experience with Pinhead’s WWI origins. At that, it’s a little weird, after two borderline pornographic movies full of people being skinned alive and turned into raisins and so forth, to suddenly suggest that Pinhead wasn’t all the way evil before. It is only now that Spencer’s soul is drifting around on its lonesome that we’re meant to really worry about Pinhead, who is meanwhile charging around in Manhattan fucking shit up with the aim of world domination, or something.
The main contribution of HELL ON EARTH is the new cenobites that Pinhead creates along the way, and while you wouldn’t call them “good”, they are at least...something! The most Clive Barker-y concept in the movie is that punky street urchin Terri is unable to dream, which makes her seem like prime cenobite material, somehow. Curiously though, she is reduced to a demonic chainsmoker, who mumbles something about having dreams while doing nothing much besides burning Joey with cigarettes. HELLRAISER III may totally lack inspiration, but that sure doesn’t keep the movie down; It also offers us a sex addict cenobite with thrusting pistons in his head that I guess symbolize “doing it”, a molotov cocktail-hurling bartender cenobite who gets wrapped in bar-bed wire (and is formally referred to as the “Barbie cenobite”), and a cameraman cenobite who...well, I don’t think I could possibly top the fandom wiki on this matter: “Whatever he films can explode using his mind. Also, the camera in his head has a hydraulic device that allows it to impale people.” If you’ve actually seen this movie, you may be wondering why I’d leave out the infamous CD cenobite, a club DJ who gains the ability to kill people with CDs that pop out of his head. I didn’t mean to. I just think it’s worth saying, all on its own, that there is a CD cenobite who kills people with CDs that pop out of his head. You won’t get to see the more iconic female cenobite, not Chatterbox nor Butterball. In fact the whole concept of torturing damned souls has pretty much gone out the window; in a climactic scene, Joey cowers in the middle of the street while the new cenobites menace her with cigarettes and lead pipes like some leftover gang from THE WARRIORS. It’s weird. HELLRAISER III is a weird movie. I’m not totally sure what it’s getting at, but as I mentioned at the very beginning: it sure does exist.

3rd Comedy Monologue
“Do any of you remember Rugrats?”
“The 90s cartoon about talking babies that went on adventures”
“Yeah well you know Angelica the whiny, spoiled character?”
“I actually kind of liked her maybe it’s because I related to her when I was little or maybe it’s because I liked how cool she was she was able to tell the babies about stuff they didn’t know about, playing a part in their imagination.”
Anyways speaking of children, they’re alright and they are usually one of the following
“Mummy Daddy why do they get to pick a sweet not me what did I do?”
“Waaaa I want that I want that”
“Hi there, do you want to play?
“Your good at art,I couldn’t draw like that”
“Thank you young soul you are too pure for this world”
Me on the other hand, was a whinging cowardly little sod
Now I’m not a child anymore but I am still mistaken as one
Yeah,that happens
17/18 years old,old enough to vote, old enough to drive, old enough to move house & old enough to realise my phases of being a tory “skeptic” were pointless
Yet sometimes people still think I’m someone who likes ice-cream,toys and video games
Well I mean I do like those things I’m sure some of you like those things too
We are children at heart but physically and mentally we evolve and learn with time
I’ll be an young adult, and I love it I might not have a place of my own yet but I love being able to learn new things and see new places I couldn’t see when I was a kid.
Then again my teenhood wasn’t that good either because I had a developmental condition that made me different than others mentally,my interests were very intense and I got panic feelings when around crowds or in difficult situations
My primary school classmates liked JLS,Partying and other things that I didn’t like or couldn’t do
While now I’m warming up to certain things I’m still happy I didn’t like JLS.
I on the other hand, liked the sims 3,dolls,the 1980s,old cartoons and films.
So...a game where you become God,plastic models, the age of neon graphic design, and innovative video games and...yeah that hasn’t changed has it?
Well I don’t play the sims anymore,my laptop has no cd rom drive,I used up the data on my old one, from downloads I’d buy from the exchange store
Sims also was one of the few things that got me into my “emo” phase
I’d be looking at sims videos on youtube they’d usually be very sad and in the background there’d be evanescence,my chemical romance or avril lavigne
I’d be sitting at the back of the living room at a gathering and I’d be listening to Sims 2 sad story part 1 because it had good music. I later learned the names and that I was a bit of a goth,a emo,a metalhead because I liked gothic and j-metal any of that.
Dolls…..
now this was embarrassing I’m sure we all have those songs where as soon as you hear them you feel a film reel of negative memories return. For me that was
Barbie Girl by Aqua, weird because aqua are a good band, but that song oh that song it was so annoying
Picture this
Someone in their final primary school years, who still collects dolls,
Now! Would you ignore that or would you use that outdated song as a way to mock them because they were still enjoying a thing, meant for children.
I received the latter, because of that when I’d hear people sing that song simply just because they liked it I’d get confused and offended a similar thing happened with my little pony
I used to sing and perform for people in the playgrounds other times I’d keep to myself
I loved my little pony before the new wave I loved rewatching episodes of the old 80s mlp series of goblins, witches and giants...oops that was a different show I was describing there
And one of the songs I’d perform was the original theme song
My Little Pony~ My Little Pony~
What will today’s adventure be?
My Little Pony…My Little Pony
Will there be exciting sights to see?
Nope to some of my primary school audience the lyrics were
“My little pony skinny and boney”
*sarcastic deadpan laugh*
Ha ha ha,
Then again I wasn’t much better
I used to make youtube videos with those “dolls”
They weren’t very good
They had bad editing and barely any plot beyond badly structured fourth wall jokes
Yet I wanted the whole internet to know about them even if they weren’t interested
I was a easy target and while I did get tired of that, change interests and go into a different fandom direction
Some things were still the same
I was still cowardly, weak and timid and that was a problem
I was always following others,I didn’t make my decisions often, because of the condition and my own loneliness I couldn’t do things other teenagers could.
I never had a sleepover,I never had a crush that wasn’t one-sided and I didn’t have much independence
Even when I did have “friends” those friends I would later learn were not nice making me believe I had wasted years that I couldn’t get back.
On...the topic of regrets, dance something I sometimes enjoy but when I studied performing Arts it was what I dreaded…
Note I’m ok with anyone who does like to dance, party or do any of those things
I would just try to take part like everyone else but many times I was put aside or embarrassed in front of the others because of either me having a meltdown or because “my timing was off”
Yes,he did teach me some cool moves and I am more supple now but that was the content and even if I was crap I knew it and tried to practice
Everyday I’d practice each technical exercise and routine but it was still not good enough.in fact it was because of that and other reasons that I couldn’t do that course anymore
All because of,of….Craig Revel Hor not him but he was like him.
Because of that I had to take saturday dance classes...those weren’t fun
The most fun I had was from the songs we danced to and the few positive examples of small talk I attempted with the people there.
Otherwise it was not good...me and little kids specifically loud hyper kids don’t always go well when in the same place..again my timing was off it wasn’t told but I could tell
One of the moments I hated the most was the headshot day
Now we were supposed to just be getting photos taken but the photographer noticed I was shorter than she thought.I laughed it off because I know I’m short but then what did she say in response…
“Your a wee bit vertically challenged”
EXCUSE ME
Now,I may be short but in a class of kids and teens of different ages and heights I was far from the shortest person there.
When I was a teenager I wasn’t a proper teenager the only things that made me a teenager was my age,my angsty attitude and the drama I got into involving political meme posters and anime roleplayers.
The less I say about that the better
So while all the “adults” were telling me to beware of the adult years because of
Oooh responsibilities...ooooh independence ooooh….education
Honestly it’s ok for me so far I’m a fairly organized person so studying is good,I did a assistant stage managing gig for a west side story production which was class by the way and I think i’ll feel a lot happier as a adult.
I have not much to mock about today my political jabs are sometimes good other times they’re like a bad Ben Elton joke on Saturday Live.
“Ha teresa may is like the wicked queen from snow white when she’s in disguise”
yeah? …..and You look like you could front the band Wings mate
(pause)
Speaking of a bad Ben Elton joke
“Oh I never really understood the whole “comedy” business I always prefered being a bit of a writer and I think now with Bohemian Rhapsody being out that those critics will think
We Will Rock You wasn’t that bad.”
Wouldn’t it be nice if there was a show that layered it’s satire of the mainstream establishment under a sitcom narrative about alternative young adult characters where the comedy was good
for once
Once in every life time
Comes a moment like this
Oh I need you, you need me,
Oh my darling can't you see.
Young Ones.
Darling we're The Young Ones.
The Young Ones.
That show,oh I only watched last year but I have so many words
The jokes, the satire, the characters, the setting, the fact it still holds up
I found that show at the right time
It was august 2017
I had finished my GCSE’s,I had left a manipulative friendship and I felt horrible
When I’d go to the cinema people were making noise and I would remember the panic more than the film itself *coughs* Spiderman homecoming
I felt like I didn’t know how to laugh anymore
Summertime sadness
When edgy me came across ben elton’s ronnie barker memorial lecture
Being a fan of Porridge and Open All hours I listened and after hearing about a certain sitcom I started watching...The Young Ones...and it was out of this world
I roared with laughter with each episode,I related to the characters and I felt a connection of some sort
Researching more about the “alternative comedy” genre and I saw a familiar name
I learned I had seen some of his work before,he was the andrex puppy,he was in that king Arthur cartoon and he was in that drop dead fred movie I didn’t watch just because internet critics said it was one of the biggest cinematic flops ever….
Yet I never knew his name until then and I’m still not over that
I looked up his other work,where he was richie,richie rich,lord flashheart and a b’stard of a conservative
(which I would later try to do an impression of, on my final girls brigade show.)
So many thoughts,so many emotions he changed my life
Many things and people have. He is one of them
his work was incredible and iconic and his mantras are very inspirational and useful. He made me realise a lot of things about life,my love of his work also resulted in me meeting most of the friends I have now.
It’s 2019 and I’m now the anarchist I always wanted to be,I’m out of my shell, a bat out of hell,I followed others for too long but I’m my own person now that’s who I will always be
Now say it with me Young Ones..
You shouldn't be afraid.
To live, love, there's a song to be sung.
Cause we may not
Be The Young Ones
very long.
Oh,Doctor Rik.Mayall we miss you,you bastard
The world wasn’t as much of a crap place when you were there to cheer us up
But your still here spiritually in her hearts
As you said yourself we still have your shows and poems
Now! all you punks, skins, rastas, emos, hipsters, creators, viewers, performers, entertainers, observers and fellow peoples poets
let’s gather round and hold our hands in sorrow for our fallen leader
Love is the answer! Goodnight

Island Princess » Shin Hoseok
- summary: can I request a prince wonho scenario where the reader is the long lost princess of the neighboring kingdom and w/ wpnho it’s love at first sight? words: 3870 category: fluff + angst author note: once again thx to marissa for helping me get started w this. also this is highkey inspired by barbie and the island princess bc i loved that movie so yeah enjoy
-
Wonho awoke to the feeling of slender fingers raking gently through his scalp. For a moment, he thought he was back at his castle, where his mother would sometimes wake him up by running her hands through his hair. That option deteriorated quickly when he tasted sand in the roof of his mouth.
That’s right, he thought, suddenly remembering what had happened.
He had been traveling, something he had been doing since he was a teenager. Exploring the world and its wonders had to be Wonho’s favorite activity. He even had his own ship: a small fishing boat with a crowded hold underneath for him to sleep in. All he used the boat for was transportation. Otherwise, he was on land, exploring whatever new continent he had decided to land on this time. In between his exploring, he often had to visit with the higher-ups and socialites of the land and discuss business. That was the deal he had made with his father: as long as he carried out his princely duties, he could explore.
Usually, there were no casualties. Somewhere between Aruba and St Lucia, however, there had been a storm. It was horrible, and Wonho hadn’t expected to live through it. He had been thrown overboard, and was unfortunately carried away from his boat. In fact, now that he thought about it, he wasn’t even sure he had survived the storm.
It was possible he was on Heaven’s shores, and the comfort he was receiving came from an angel.
He suddenly retched, fully awake now as the action painfully strained his already dry throat. His eyes opened widely, stinging from the salt encrusted around the lids.
He was on all fours now, dry heaving and coughing up sand. The comforting hand had lowered to his back, patting him assuringly.
“There you go, pal,” spoke their voice.
Wonho looked up, and the first thing he wanted to ask was if you were, indeed, an angel. It wasn’t hard to imagine. Not when your eyes were bright and merry. Not when your smile seemed pure and innocent. You even wore a white dress, albeit tattered and dirty, over what looked like cotton trousers. “Are you an angel?”
You snorted, rather un-angel like in Wonho’s opinion. “No. I’m Y/n. Welcome to my island.”
Wonho sat up and squinted against the sun as he observed the small island. It looked rather empty, save the vast forest in the middle of it. Water surrounded all sides, and it made Wonho queasy to think of staying here long enough for the tide to draw in. “Did you see my boat? Do you know where it could be?”
You reached out a hand to calm his frantic figure struggling dizzily to get up. “Relax. Your boat came in before you did. I swam out and dropped the anchor. It showed up up on the other side of the island, you know. I can’t believe you drifted this far and actually managed to arrive on the shore. Unfortunately, it looks like your motor is broken or something.”
Wonho took in your words, counting himself lucky that he managed to stay alive. “Were you shipwrecked too?”
“Years and years ago. I must’ve been around five years old.”
“Oh, no,” Wonho groaned, bracing himself on all fours and struggling to control his breathing. “How am I going to get home?”
Fortunately for Wonho, you didn’t take his words offensively. Instead, you wrapped an arm around his waist and pulled him up onto his feet. “There you go. We’ll get you to my hut. You can heal there.”
Wonho wasn’t sure what you meant by “heal”, until he felt a warm liquid ooze down his side. He looked down, “I’m bleeding.”
“I know. You must’ve hit some coral or something while you were floating around. I’ll patch you up nicely when we return home and make you some soup.”
“You have food here?”
“How else would I be alive?” you laughed, “What’s your name, anyway?”
“Most people call me Wonho.”
“Well, Wonho, I’m glad you washed up on my shore. It gets pretty lonely here.”
“I can imagine.”
-
You set Wonho down on your makeshift bed and began rummaging around your small one-roomed home, searching for any healing balms you had made recently. Once you found the paste, you turned back towards Wonho, who was propped on his elbows, admiring your hut. “So it’s just you?” he asked softly.
“Yeah,” you replied, sitting beside him. He unbuttoned his shirt as you talked. “There was somebody else with me. A woman. She — I don’t know how to say this — she left when I was asleep one night. By the time I woke up to the commotion of the ship, it was already out of earshot. They couldn’t hear me.”
“How old were you then?”
“I don’t know,” you answered, spreading some balm over his wound. “Maybe eight years old?”
Wonho hissed, and you weren’t sure if the reaction was from your words or from the balm. “Eight? Why would she leave a child alone?”
“I don’t know. I can’t remember much before the island. I don’t know if she was my mother, or a relative, or a kidnapper. I can never remember.”
You began to tear the thin sheet under Wonho’s form. Once you tore a strip long enough, you wrapped it around the man’s torso, tying it tightly in the front. “If this starts leaking or bleeding, let me know.”
“Thanks,” Wonho said, already in the process of buttoning his shirt back up. “If you want to leave, we can. Once it’s fixed, my boat will sail us back to my kingdom. You can stay with me until you get settled.”
You tensed at his words, feeling a strange sense of urgency that you couldn’t quite place. “Kingdom? Are you a prince?”
Why does the thought of a kingdom comfort me? your thoughts swirled around your head like an annoying gnat you couldn’t bat away.
“I am,” Wonho answered. “I won’t make you go if you don’t want to, obviously. Although, I don’t know why anyone would want to stay here by themselves.”
“You kind of get used to it,” you admitted. “Now, try to get some actual rest. Dinner will be ready when you wake up.”
“You never answered my question,” Wonho said, pulling your thin blanket over his body.
“That’s because I don’t have an answer yet.”
-
Wonho was much more beautiful to look at then the sea. While he was sleeping, you unknowingly stopped to watch him.
It had been a long time since you had seen another human in the flesh, so you weren’t sure if his beauty came from actual attration or just the fact that he’s the first boy you’ve seen in over a decade.
While he slept, his black hair fell over his face, matted down with sweat. He surely wasn’t used to the tropical climate you experienced every day. Your mind went to only a few hours ago, when you were running your fingers through his soft locks in the hope of comforting him. Now you wished you could do it again.
His skin looked beautiful too. You thought back to his toned abs and chest and felt warmth spread through your cheeks.
Unsure of how to wake him, you merely tapped him on the shoulder. “Wonho? You need to eat something.”
He stirred a bit, incoherent mumbles escaping his lips before he finally opened his eyes and looked at you. “Hello, beautiful.”
You were taken back by his choice of words, unsure of what to say. You didn’t own a mirror. The closest thing you had to seeing yourself was the water’s reflection, which never worked. So you often wondered if you were pretty. “What color are my eyes?”
“What?” Wonho sat up, wincing slightly. “Your eyes? Y/e/c, why?”
“I just never knew, is all.” You shook your head to dismiss the subject, “It’s nothing. Um, I searched your boat and found your clothes and some blankets and pillows. Is it okay that I brought them here?”
“Of course,” Wonho replied. “It probably gets cold at night, doesn’t it?”
You laughed mirthlessly, “Yeah. Especially when the tide is in.”
Wonho suddenly glanced down your figure, his eyebrows furrowed. “Aren’t you cold now? Your clothes are wet.”
“Well, I had to swim to get to the boat. I took everything one at a time and wore a life jacket so I could hold them above the water while getting back to shore.”
“You didn’t need to do that!” Wonho said, exasperated. He stood up and grabbed his favorite blanket, a large wool one that he took everywhere with him. “Here, use this.” He wrapped the blanket around your shoulders and held it closed at your front. “Next time let them get wet. We can just dry them.”
“Okay,” you said, unable to stop yourself from looking into the prince’s eyes.
He seemed mesmerized too, in his own way, and pulled you closer to him. “Y/e/c. They’re mesmerizing, you know. One day I’ll take you to a place with a mirror, and you’ll get to see just how pretty they are. How pretty you are.”
“I’m not sure I’d like that,” you admitted shakily, warm under Wonho’s gaze. “It’s kind of nice not knowing. It gives me confidence.”
“Oh no, darling,” Wonho insisted, dipping his head so that his nose bumped against yours, “You have to see. I dare say that with your looks, you must’ve been a princess in your past life.”
Your heart began to beat faster, but no longer because of Wonho’s sweet words or close hold. This was because of what he called you. It felt familiar, as if you had been called it before. “P–Princess?”
“Yeah,” Wonho pulled away and sat back down, ready to have his bandages checked. “You can be an island princess.”
-
As much as Wonho liked you (which was a lot) he wasn’t sure he could stand the island. It was the ultimate game of survival, he quickly learned. All you did day in and day out was rummage for food and cook it. After that, you had time to wash up and eat, but that was it. You had no time to do anything else. If you wanted to spend the day doing something else, you’d have to give up a meal.
Wonho was afraid of the storms as well. They were good, since they were the only way you received clean water, but they were loud. Wonho already hated storms, but sitting in the middle of one and just waiting for it to be over? Terrifying.
You didn’t seem afraid at all. In fact, it was like you couldn’t even hear the roar of the thunder above you, or the bright lightening that struck a bit too close to your hut for Wonho’s liking. He had to wonder if you even felt the very foundation of your hut shaking from the wind.
It was around midnight, and the two of you were sleeping on your makeshift cots, staring up at the bamboo ceiling and struggling to ignore the rainwater that seeped through the cracks.
You were asleep, Wonho was sure, but he couldn’t even close his eyes. He turned on his side and watched you, already feeling guilty for what he was about to do. “Y/n? Can you wake up?”
Your eyes opened quickly. “I’m already awake.”
“Oh. Well, can I tell you something?”
“What is it?”
“I’m afraid of storms. I feel like crying right now.”
You looked at him. “I used to be afraid too. Especially after I was left alone. The loud cracks of thunder terrified me and made me want to hide away. Unfortunately, you just get used to it.”
“I don’t want to get used to it,” Wonho said, jumping once more as thunder clapped loudly overhead. “I want to go home, where it’s safe.”
“I know,” you whispered, “and to me, that’s scarier than the biggest storm.”
Wonho felt his heart break at your words. Even though it had only been about a week, he too had grown attached to you. The thought of leaving you made him upset. That’s why he couldn’t leave until you went with him. He wouldn’t leave you alone. He didn’t think he could.
Without another word, he lifted your arm and positioned himself under it, so that his head was rested on your chest. He wrapped his arm around your middle and pulled you as close to you as he could. It was easy to be vulnerable in the dark, especially when the sound of thunder seemed to drown out any words uttered in moments of weakness.
-
“C'mon,” you coaxed Wonho. Goosebumps ran up your leg as you stepped into the cold waves of the morning. The wind blew your hair this way and that, often obstructing your view. You pulled Wonho along with you, his large hand wrapped around yours.
He sighed, and you knew it was because he could never say no to you.
It had been around a month (Wonho had been charting the days) since he washed up on shore. Since then, Wonho had gotten more used to the island life. After he fully healed, he spent day in and day out working on his motor. Fortunately, he had a toolbox and motor oil in his boat, as he always did. All he had to do was repair the motor and then convince you to come home with him.
You wanted him to rest for the day, so you convinced Wonho to help you search for crabs. They were something easy to make, since you could boil them. Wonho reluctantly agreed.
“It’s cold!” he yelled as you pulled him in. “Why are you making me do this?”
“Because we have to eat tonight!” you replied.
“The quicker I get that motor fixed, the quicker we both can get home and eat to our hearts content. Have you ever had some really nice seasoned chicken?”
“Not that I know of. Maybe when I was little.”
“It’s my favorite,” Wonho said, his smile growing. “The castle cook used to make it for me all the time back home.”
There was that word again, and that tug in your chest, making you long for something unknown. “Can you tell me more about the castle?”
Wonho’s entire face brightened. “Yeah! There are four kingdoms. I’m the prince of the Piscis Kingdom. We’re close to the sea, and our main businesses are seafood and boating. You’d love it there. Our castle is the smallest, but it’s filled with pretty fountains and cushioned sofas.”
“What about the other kingdoms?”
“Well there’s the Equus Kingdom. They pride themselves on their purebred horses. Then the Stellae Kingdom. They use the stars to dictate how they rule. It’s pretty risky, but it works for them.”
“The last one?” you urged him, hoping something might reenter your brain. “What’s the last kingdom called?”
Wonho frowned. “The Flos Kingdom? They are still having a grieving period, so we’ve been respectfully keeping our distance.”
“Why are they grieving?”
“Their daughter was taken years ago. I can still remember that day like it was yesterday. I was nine, and my mother woke me up urgently. We traveled all the way to Flos, where all four kingdoms had come to search for the princess, who was no where to be found. We searched day and night but nothing came up…” Wonho looked up, recognition in his face, “How old did you say you were when you got shipwrecked.”
Tears were already streaming down your face. Feelings of relief, panic, and heartache filled you as you watched Wonho’s reaction. “That’s why I thought those terms sounded familiar. Castle, Kingdom, Prince… Wonho, I think I’m the lost princess.”
Wonho pulled you in his warm embrace, hoping to comfort you however he could. “But the princess’ name isn’t Y/n.”
“That’s what the woman called me. I guess she named me after we arrived.”
Wonho ran his hands down your arms. “Do you know what this means, Y/n?”
You smiled, feeling as if a crushing weight had just been lifted off of your shoulders. Years of wondering who you were and where your memories pieced in finally came together in your mind. “It means I’m going home.”
-
Wonho fixed up the motor as quickly as he could, only stopping for quick naps or meals inbetween.
Meanwhile, you struggled to pack up the things you wished to bring with you. As much as your island might’ve seemed like a prison, it was the only home you knew. It meant the world to you, and you weren’t sure you’d ever be okay with leaving it permanently.
Once your bags were packed and the motor was fixed, the two of you set off, watching your island get smaller and smaller. “I can come back, right?”
“Sure, you can,” Wonho comforted you. He interlocked his fingers with yours. “I don’t see why anyone wouldn’t let you.”
“What if my return makes the news and everyone wants to come visit the island I lived on? What if they turn it into a museum or something?”
Wonho squeezed your hand reassuringly. “Well you see, the great thing about it is that we don’t have to tell them anything about the island. I can say I found you in Aruba, at one of the inns I was staying at. We have the entire trip back to make up a story about how you bravely escaped your kidnapper and have been working to buy a boat and return to your kingdom this entire time.”
“So it can just be our little island?”
Wonho’s ears turned a slight shade of pink as you looked at him. “Yes,” he leaned down to peck your nose, causing you to giggle. “Our little island.”
-
You were shaking when you saw the docks. Your grip on the prince’s arm tightened. “Wonho? You aren’t going to leave me, right?”
“I won’t. We can just go see your parents and then you can choose whether you want to stay with them or go with me.”
“I want to go with you,” you replied instantly, burying your face into Wonho’s chest.
Wonho chuckled, sending a vibration down his chest. “At least meet them, Y/n. It would make it fair.”
“Okay,” you agreed nervously.
It was as if you and Wonho were attached at the hip, for you refused to let go of him as the two of you walked down the square. The place seemed familiar to you, but not enough to make you leave the only person you knew in the world.
“Would you like a strawberry tart, dear?” a plump lady asked from the side of the road, her vending cart filled with baked goods.
“N–No thanks,” you whispered, eyes wide at the arrangements of sweets. After living on seafood for over a decade, you wondered what a strawberry tart even tasted like.
You followed Wonho’s lead all the way to the palace gates, where your resolve began to crumble. “What if they don’t like me?” you asked. “What if they’re mean?”
Wonho turned to you, his gaze softening. “Y/n, look at me.”
You reluctantly lifted your eyes to meet his. He pressed his forehead against yours, allowing your breaths to mingle together before he answered, “Your parents are some of the nicest people I have ever met, and to this day they have never stopped searching for you. But if something feels off, or you’d just feel safer, you’re still welcome to stay with me. I won’t leave unless you tell me to.”
You nodded, “Thanks, Wonho.”
-
There you stood, hand in Wonho’s and eyes trapped on the couple in front of you. They were waiting for you to speak, but you didn’t know if you could.
The king looked regal. He looked like a man who had been through wars but still remained strong for his people. He looked like someone you could depend on.
The queen looked so beautiful. Everything about her seemed gentle and kind, especially her eyes. Her head was cocked to the side as she spoke, her voice like honey, “What is it, dear? What’s wrong?”
You broke then. Tears flooded your vision as you choked out, “It’s me. I’m your daughter.”
The queen immediately burst into tears, her hands cupping her mouth. “How? Where did you go? Did Prince Wonho find you?”
You nodded, eyes cutting to the king, who was struggling to hold in tears. “Wonho found me. I came back as soon as I remembered who I was.”
“My daughter,” the king spoke, choked up. His voice was rough and gravelly, but there was familiarity there, as if he had sung you lullabies when you were a child. He walked forward and outstretched his arms, “May I?”
You didn’t answer, but merely let go of Wonho’s hand and ran to your father. You soon felt your mother hugging you as well.
For awhile, it was just the three of you sobbing. Unsure of everything and not quite believing that the present was happening.
Your mother pulled back first, clearing her throat before she looked at Wonho. “How do we repay you for bringing her back to us?”
Wonho looked surprised at the notion, and his gaze drifted towards you. “Just give me a few minutes alone with her. That’s all I ask.”
The king and queen respected his request and left the room, signaling at a few servants to begin prepping a room for you.
Wonho grabbed both of your hands. “You’re staying, aren’t you?”
You nodded. “I need to be with them. I have to learn more about them and who I was. I have to know who I’m supposed to be.”
Wonho smiled and looked upwards in an effort to hide the obvious pain in his eyes. “I guess I should’ve seen this coming. It’s good, you know, that you aren’t closing yourself off to people. It might be awkward at first, but I’m sure you’ll come to love them just as all the kingdoms do.”
“Don’t think you’ve gotten rid of me,” you said, a coy smile on your face. “I still have to try that seasoned chicken you talked so highly about.”
“Right,” Wonho laughed. “I’m just a carriage ride away, you know.”
“I know.” You paused. “I love you, Wonho. I hope you know that by doing this I’m not leaving you.”
Wonho cupped your face then, and pressed his lips onto yours eagerly and roughly, as if to show how much he needed your words to be true. “I love you too,” he breathed against your lips before kissing you again, as if sealing a promise.
When the two of you parted, he smiled bashfully. “I’ve wanted to do that since I met you, if we’re being honest.”
You hummed and wrapped your arms around his neck casually. “If we’re telling the truth, I think you should know that you have an awesome body.”
“Stop, I’m blushing.”
“Good,” you teased, leaning in to kiss him once again.
